Was your loved one arrested in Georgia?
You do not need to know the county or understand the system to ask for help. Call and tell us what you know. You can also look up official information yourself.
Start with a call
Have your loved one’s full name and any arrest information or notices ready. You can call even if you do not know where they are. An attorney must review the charges, detention and available options.
Call JLA: (770) 609-9396For immediate danger or an ambulance in the U.S., call 911.

Is this immigration custody?
ICE's official locator covers immigration detention nationwide. It is separate from county jail rosters. ICE does not include people under 18 in its public locator.

These links are for local county jails, not immigration detention centers.
Another county or a state prison?
The selector includes local jail gateways for the 11 Atlanta Regional Commission counties. It does not cover every Georgia jail. For another county, find its local government and official sheriff's website. The Georgia Department of Corrections covers state prisons, not every local jail.
Cannot find the person?
Public records may take time to update or may not include some people. A missing result does not confirm that someone was released. Use the jail's or arresting agency's official contact to confirm information.
