Jerome D. Lee
Supervising Attorney / Managing Partner
Harvard College graduate (AB 1996) and Stanford Law School (JD 2000). Active member of the State Bar of Georgia with over 25 years of legal experience. Founded J. Lee & Associates in 2020 to provide accessible, premier legal representation to the Hispanic community in Gwinnett County and the greater Atlanta metro area. Personally oversees all four practice areas, reviews every legal document, and ensures each client receives the same quality of representation that larger firms charge thousands more to provide.
Alfonso Rodriguez
Chief Operating Officer (COO)
Leads firm operations and implements AI systems that have transformed efficiency and client service. Manages case management systems and automation platforms that allow the team to respond faster and serve more families. Drives JLA's digital and marketing strategy to connect with the Hispanic community. His technology vision enables a small firm to deliver the service level of a large practice.
Ben Dubin
VP of Operations
Oversees operational processes, governance, and business development for the firm. Brings extensive business management expertise and ensures quality standards across all practice areas. Leads strategic growth initiatives and establishes protocols that keep every case moving efficiently. His focus on continuous improvement has strengthened the firm's capacity to serve the community.
Amanda Tejera
Immigration Supervisor
Leads the immigration department with experience before USCIS and the Atlanta Immigration Court (EOIR). Handles deportation defense, family petitions (I-130), U-Visas, VAWA, asylum, and naturalization cases. Her dedication and deep knowledge of the immigration system make her an invaluable resource for immigrant families. She understands the urgency and stress families face during immigration proceedings and works tirelessly to protect their rights.
Juan Manuel Fernandez
Personal Injury Supervisor
Oversees all personal injury cases: car and truck accidents on I-85 and I-285, workplace injuries, and slip-and-fall incidents. Specializes in negotiations with insurance companies like State Farm, GEICO, and Progressive to secure maximum compensation. Coordinates with doctors who accept treatment under medical liens so clients receive immediate medical care without out of pocket costs. Fights to ensure accident victims receive what they deserve.
Guadalupe Carvallo
Criminal Defense & Family Law Lead
Handles criminal defense and family law with special attention to the immigration impact of every case. Evaluates how charges such as DUI, drug offenses, or domestic violence can affect immigration status and develops strategies that protect both freedom and the client's future. In family law, handles divorce, custody, and protective orders with cultural sensitivity. Her experience at the intersection of criminal and immigration law is unique in the Norcross area.
Victoria Garcia
Office Manager
Coordinates daily office operations: appointment scheduling, file management, and client and vendor communications. She is the first point of contact for many clients and ensures every person who contacts JLA receives timely, professional attention. Her organization and warmth keep the office running efficiently while making clients feel welcome and heard.
